Getting the kids to buy in is important as well.

Just a reminder that it is easier for adults to pack up and move than kids. They will probably be nervous about making new friends and having to start over. Including them in part of the decision will help them feel more a part of the entire move and 'ownership' of the new home. Communication is everything with kids. Letting them find their new bedroom, backyard and  discovering the new area with you will make it much easier for them. Most Kids really liked the safety of familiarity, fear of the unknown comes with lots of anxiety.
