Raving Fans

February 2010
Dear Jim and Jan,
We are the folks from New Jersey who bought one of your beautiful homes in Saguaro Springs. We were only in Idaho a few days, and had most of our belongings in storage, when we wandered into Saguaro Canyon with our plan to buy a move-in ready home. We met Jay in the sales office and inquired if any were available. He asked us about our house ?wish list? and knew right away the Kerrville would fit the bill. He told us about the model at Lakemoor and offered to show it to us. We immediately liked and trusted him, and followed him there. As soon as we walked into that house, we were taken aback. The layout, design elements and quality of the construction sold us within moments. Jay then showed us the Saguaro Springs neighborhood and the idea of a move-in ready house became a thing of the past. A new chapter in our lives was opened and we met some incredible people along the way?
Our relationship with Jay grew, and he always displayed a professional and ?can do? attitude combined with a great sense of humor. He was very organized and diligent; our addendums were kept up-to-date, he replied to emails and phone calls promptly, and always knew who to call if any issues arose. He would sometimes call us on his days off if he felt something needed to be addressed. He was a wonderful advocate and positive representative of your company.
We often returned to the model in Lakemoor to look around, take measurements and get ideas. During our many trips there, we came to know Heather. Her enthusiasm for your company?s product, and her warm personality attracted us right away. It was readily apparent that our happiness gave her a great deal of satisfaction. She thought to offer us tickets to a Boise State game, and even supplied us with tee shirts; we?ll always remember these kind acts. She told us to spend a lot of time in the Kerrville, and to think about our lifestyle in regard to making any changes in the layout. Her guidance was priceless; we did make some changes and our home is perfect for us.
Chris was introduced to us as we were giving our home design thought, and he became an excellent resource as the process evolved. His expertise was invaluable and we got many great ideas from talking with him. We extended our patio and added a window in our dining area after conversations with Chris. He would give us food for thought. We would often see him when we stopped by Saguaro Springs, and he would readily answer questions about the different phases of construction.
David, as superintendent of construction and as a person, was amazing. We truly appreciated his knowledge of home design, patient demeanor, and willingness to go the extra mile. We asked his opinion about certain changes to the layout, and he gave us honest, concise answers. He was readily available to answer questions, and always in a good mood. It was obvious that he loved his job!
Shawn, always down to earth and approachable, could not do enough for us. We called upon him to get a few cosmetic issues rectified, and he responded quickly. Either he handled the matter personally or he arranged for the appropriate contractor to speak with us.
Although Rollo was hired during the construction of our home, and our interactions with him were limited, we nonetheless called upon him. He answered questions thoughtfully and always displayed a pleasant, polite demeanor.
The vendors and trades people we met were very helpful, and inspiring. Sherry?s enthusiasm and eye for detail were wonderful. We didn?t veer far from her choices in the Lakemoor model because we thought they looked terrific. We always enjoyed being in her company! Jeannie at Home Depot was friendly, knowledgeable about lighting and excellent at keeping us on task. When there was a question about what size fixture to get for a certain room, she took it upon herself to drive to the model to get a first hand look at the space. The fixtures we chose, with her help, look great in the house. Our meetings with Harold at Sears, Doug at Leisure Den and Coby at European Cabinetry were positive and productive. Always patient and reliable, Jesse from I-Home helped navigate us through the world of home technology. What a talented young man! The framers always greeted us, and they worked efficiently. Mike from the painting company would say hello and encourage us to ask questions. The electricians offered great suggestions, and Harold from the HVAC company was friendly and willing to explain about the heating system. Our beautiful installed railing represents Merle from Western Woodwork as a true craftsman. The young men who installed our tile were so nice and good at their jobs. We requested that a design on the floor be centered in a certain way and they did it perfectly. The masons were always pleasant even as they worked in very cold weather. They did an amazing job on our stonework. Devon and Levi worked with us to make the outside of the house as inviting as the inside. Often we would hear about how great it was to be working with Boise Hunter Homes.
These talented, hard-working people came together to make our home special. Their collective signatures are on it and, as Chris would say, they have added to its good ?feng shi.? It was an honor to meet all of them.
Thank you for putting together such a team, and for giving us the opportunity to visit the house as it was being built. What a great experience! Your product is a wonderful reflection of your vision and leadership.
Thank you, too, for the lovely housewarming gifts. It was very thoughtful and generous of you, and a nice way to start our lives in our beautiful new home.
With best regards,
The Schillers
