GOOD MORNING STOCKDALE FAMILY!
In July 2007, CBH Homes and ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition joined together to give a deserving Middleton family a new home. Earlier that morning the lives of Ryan and Karia Stockdale, and their four children who suffer from a rare medical condition, were forever changed when they heard the TV show's leader, Ty Pennington, yell his famous "good morning" wake-up call right outside their house.
Pennington and the other designers surprised the unsuspecting family with news that their home, which had fallen into significant disrepair, had been chosen to be rebuilt. CBH Homes, and their building partners, donated all the time and materials required to build the Stockdales a new home specifically designed to consider the children's rare medical condition. The home was built within the week and was ready for the Stockdales on July 18th! This was an amazing undertaking that provided much-needed help to a local family. The entire Boise Valley community was invited to come out and provide support.
Many joined CBH Homes at the job site to be part of something amazing! They needed as many volunteers as possible to make The Stockdale's dream come true. For many jobs, there was no construction experience necessary.
The home was delivered on time and was celebrated across the Treasure Valley community including many local real estate and construction industry professionals.
