Remember when Legacy subdivision was up for auction?
This is from a post dated September 9, 2008:
The bigger they come the harder they fall. Legacy Subdivision heads to the auction block.
Two days ago I emailed one of the managers at Legacy Subdivision in Eagle and I noticed the email bounced back to me. I knew it meant something but was not sure what and then yesterday in the Idaho Statesman Newspaper in the business section was a notice for trustee sale.
This sports oriented subdivision endorsed by several notable sport icons was a new product to Boise. I was surprised to see it fail myself, just basedon how beautiful it was, how important sports is to our culture and the fact that homes started in the low $200k's.
So now we have Avimor and Legacy selling to the highest bidder as well as other subdivisions in the area.
These are interesting times for sure. If you are in the market for a lot, keep your eyes open and ears alert, there are deals to be had.
Legacy was developed as a sports themed community. Check out the promotional video.

Avimor was a master planned community in the foothills west of Boise. My understanding was that it was actually sold back to the land owner who formed a new partnership with an existing member of the development team to keep it going.
