Idaho HERS Score Comparison

Most people are not familiar with a HERS Index but simply put it is a metric to rate homes and how much energy they require compared to the 2006 energy building codes. A score of 100 is average. Anything below this number means the home performs better and above 100 rating means the home does not perform as well and would require mor energy to maintain comfort levels.The scoring is based on percentages so a home that scores a 115 would require 15% more energy and a score of 85% equates to 15% less energy.
