In doing all of the research to find the vineyards and wineries in Boise and the Treasure Valley, we discovered one thing: Idahoans love wine. In total, we found 19 vineyards that grow grapes and produce wine, as well as 15 wineries dedicated to tastings, flights, and selling wine. This is no surprise considering that the Idaho wine market is growing (get it?). Idaho’s elevation, volcanic soil, hot summers, and moderately wet spring and fall all contribute to distinct varieties of grapes and wine.
