What makes a property right for you?

If it were a science, emotions would not play the largest part in finding your home in Idaho.
Searching for a new home is not something that can be boiled down into a system or path everyone shares. Everyone has a different path because yes, we are all different, but more precisely we have different values, priorities, lifestyles, backgrounds, and perceptions of what makes a home great. We are also in different stages of our lives.

That also explains why there are so many different floorplans, sizes, styles, and variations between homes. Of course, it would be a boring place if we all lived in the same set of homes.

This is the reason that even after you define what area of Treasure Valley you want to be in and the price range, most people still end up touring dozens of homes. It is the wrong color. The home has the wrong feel. You want to be closer to the kid's bedrooms. It is not big enough. You need a different yard dimension or size. The master suite is upstairs.

There are many reasons that a home might not be the best choice but the one you do select will be because of how you feel. Whether it inspires you, reminds you of the home you grew up in, or reminds you of something else in your life, that will be the reason you buy it, assuming it meets all the minimum criteria.

Enjoy searching for your home and remember that if you are not finding what you are looking for, new listings will be on the market tomorrow or you could consider building a custom home with a Boise Home Builder.
