WASHINGTON, D.C., Feb. 3 – Idaho builder Chuck Miller, CAPS, CGB, CGP, CGR, CMP, CSP, GMB, Master CSP, MIRM, of Chuck Miller Construction, Inc., has been named the 2015 Master in Residential Marketing (MIRM) of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders. The MIRM represents the pinnacle of new home sales education because it represents years of industry experience, serious coursework requirements and a one‐of‐a‐kind requirement for a successful case study to complete the designation. That means that there are not a lot of MIRM designees in the market, but those who are, are the leaders in their field.

The demand for new homes in Boise remained strong throughout the year. The best thing for developers and builders was that all market segments and price points had interest from buyers. Here at Build Idaho headquarters we consistently receive inquiries from  buyers who are from out of state and they seem to normally talk about retiring here. They all want different things though. Some want acreage a little further out. Others are interested in basing themselves in Boise but plan to travel and looking for something in the low maintenance lifestyle category. Others are interested in high caliber homes with all the bells and whistles.

Boise Idaho New Construction Report

Please Stay Seated, we are experiencing a little turbulence!  Where are the home buyers? In 2011, builders started to get busy again and by 2013 there was not enough subs to meet demand. Now sub-contractors are calling builders looking for work. What has happened? Are people no longer moving to Boise or are they no longer looking at new homes?

Last year there were only 90 active builders in Ada County and this year 200 are on the list. Builders are coming back to find home buyers in the market.
