Garden City sits along Chinden Boulevard between State Street and Boise’s West Bench. It’s nestled between Boise to the southeast and Eagle to the northwest. Garden City has been experiencing a resurgence in the last decade, which has brought a lot of changes and updates. An arts scene called Live/Work/Create has been growing alongside craft breweries and wineries. Expo Idaho, Boise Fairgrounds, Revolution Concert House, and the Boise Hawks Baseball Stadium are in the north end of Garden City. Every summer, Garden City is full of people going to the Western Idaho Fair, Boise Music Festival and professional baseball games.

Garden City, Idaho welcomes all to it's city. Located just beside Boise, many don't even consider it a separate city. It is comprised of about 3 miles of Chinden Blvd., the Boise RIver and just below the Boise Bench. Even though this is a relatively small area, it is very diverse.

Above the City of Boise rises the Boise Foothills and while they do create a beautiful background fo the city, it is more beautiful when you get to know them. Exploring the foothills for wildlife or enjoying some recreational biking bring the foothills to life. An interconnected network of foot, mountain biking and horse trails curve through the hills linking neighborhoods with public lands but also connecting people with the natural environment. There are over 130 miles of trails that run from Northeast Boise to Boise County , there is something for everyone and most any ability.
