The Village at Meridian opened in 2013 and quickly became a hub for shopping and dining in the Boise Metro area. The Village’s central location at Eagle Road and Fairview Avenue, the state's busiest interection, helped give rise to its prominence. Every year during the weekend after Labor Day, Julia Davis Park is filled with artists and craftsmen from around the northwest. Art in the Park is hosted by the Boise Art Museum and takes place in its backyard, in the Rose Garden, and the Julia Davis Memorial.
