Selecting a Realtor® is a very important piece in finding a property, making an offer and closing.  I was reminded last week that not only are they important but each one is different. Finding someone that is best for you may require some due diligence on your part but will pay off in the end.

I was reading a blog post  that noted the most important factor in selecting an agent was how much you liked them and the relationship with them. We just want to note it is the last, most important thing.

The ability to negotiate on your new home is going to be highly dependent on three variables: current amount of inventory of homes that match your criteria, if you are buying a home "To Be Built" or existing inventory and local market conditions.

Everyone wants to find a home that is "a deal." That plan works pretty good if you have time to play the game as well as if you are willing to settle. Some Home Buyers are more concerned about getting what they want, value and lifestyle. Sometimes it is a better value, even compared to short sales, to buy new construction.
