Who builds the most homes in Boise, Idaho? Our 2018 report takes a look at building permits. This is different than home sales as not every home is listed through the Multiple Listing Service. Many custom home builds go unreported. Also, Custom Home builders are often approached by someone with a request to build on land they already own, so there is no technical "home sale".

This is a great resource for all home buyers wanting to research NEW homes by community across the Boise Valley.

Has new construction peaked? This month's report shows how new construction activity is slowing down. Did builders overbuild in the spring, has the in-migration to Boise Idaho slow down?

We recently surveyed building permits to see which companies build the most homes across Meridian, Boise, Star , Kuna and Eagle, Idaho.

Last year there were only 90 active builders in Ada County and this year 200 are on the list. Builders are coming back to find home buyers in the market.
