Where do I start? Main Idaho Interior Design
It can be difficult to commit to the finish selections for your new home or remodel....

Home Design ColorsI suggest starting with an inspirational item. This could be a piece of artwork, a beautiful rug, those slab granite countertops that you know you can’t live without, or even your favorite sweater. Any of these items provide a color palette that gives you a jumping off point for your finish selections.

Once you have a general idea of your color scheme, make your selections from larger items to small. Cabinetry style and color and countertops are always good first decisions. Then focus in on the smaller details of decorative tile, plumbing fixture styles & finish, hardware, etc. Leave paint and carpet until last because there are many, many colors available. It is much easier to match them to your other finishes rather than the other way around.

Re:Where do I start?
before you can remodel your house, you definitely need to know what output you want. This will still be the same question any interior designer will ask you if you'd rather hires someone to do it for you. You may not be precise with the desired outcome. just have a concrete and general perception of how you would like your home to look like once done. always stick to what makes you comfortable. if unsure, try to check out the latest trends and learn about the hottest and most convenient designs which may suit you well.
