It's All In The Details Main Idaho Interior Design
Get a rich look without adding much cost.

Accent Tile & Patterns

A simple change in pattern in even the most inexpensive tile adds a lot of interest.  Lay tile on the diagonal, or in a running bond (brick) pattern rather than plain square.  Clip the corners and add in a 3” x 3” square of a more expensive glass mosaic or a metallic pencil liner.  Spending $200 extra on a tile accent will make an amazing difference in design.

Skip the “Builder Beige”.  You don’t have to go crazy, but a warm neutral throughout the home will richen any look.  Think of it as the background to set off your furniture, window treatments & accents.  Then change it up a bit…Most painters in this area only charge around $100 for a color change, which is well worth it when you consider the cost of supplies and time it would take to do it yourself.  Pick a couple areas, or rooms that you want to highlight.

Make sure you add detail throughout your home.  It is better to spend a little less on more details to keep a cohesive look throughout, rather than spending a lot in one area.
