Each June the town hosts one of the Treasure Valley's largest evetns "Eagle Fun Days." This event is filled with activities including a rodeo but it is best know for the Rocky Mountian Oyster Feed! Something everyone should experience at least once! Eagle Idaho Park

Heritage Park and Gazebo

185 E. State Street

Heritage Park features a Gazebo and a ground level water feature that is the hit with children in the summertime.  The Gazebo is available for public use and features entertainment events during the summer evenings.  Also featured in this Park are monogrammed brick pavers.    To facilitate your enjoyment of Downtown Eagle, a convenient parking lot is located adjacent to Heritage park.  Park your car and take a walking tour of Downtown Eagle and enjoy the variety of shops and restaurants available for your enjoyment.

Reid W. Merrill Sr. Community Park

637 E. Shore Drive

(located in the Eagle River Development) 

 Construction on Reid W. Merrill, Sr. Community Park was completed in March of 2003.  The park features include an open playing field, picnic areas, wetland/riparian areas, an observation shelter (gazebo), pond area, foot paths, children's play area (including an interactive water feature), volleyball and basketball courts.  The picnic shelter may be reserved.

Eagle Sports Complex

Horseshoe Bend Road (Old Highway 55)

The Eagle Sports Complex is located on Old Horseshoe Bend Road just north of its intersection with Floating Feather Road.  It features a 12,500 square foot skateboard park, basketball hoops, picnic area, and restrooms.  The Skate Park was a joint effort by the City of Eagle and Ada County and is the first phase of an 85-acre park development.  Recent additions include bike trails and a BMX course.

Eagle Island State Park

4000 W. Hatchery Road

Eagle Island is an Idaho State Park and can be reached at 939-0696.  The park sits off of Linder Road between Hwy 20/26 and Hwy 44.  Directions: US Hwy. 20/26 to Linder Road and follow signs to Park. Off Hatchery Road, west of Eagle.

Arboretum Park
312 E. State St.

Arboretum Park is located adjacent to the Senior Citizens Center in downtown Eagle. Arboretum by definition is a place where many kinds of trees or shrubs are grown for study or display.  The Eagle Arboretum displays various plantings including 37 varieties of trees, native plants, and a variety of roses, ground covers and perennials.  Plants and trees are identified by name stakes, which contain the scientific name, common name and family.  The public is welcome to take a leisurely stroll through the Arboretum and take advantage of the picnic tables and benches.
