2012 saw the first signs of construction cost increase and 2013 should see more

2013 should see signicant increase costs of materials in new construction from lumber to roofing materials and even labor.

This may not seem like a drastic problem but this increase may be exasperated by the fact that Boise is in demand. If new construction can't keep up with demand by those moving here, home values will escalate as well.

The migration from California is one of the largest drivers of new construciton in Boise and the entire Boise Idaho Real Estate market. 2012 saw an increase of 66% in building permits.
