No this is not a Halloween real estate post but more of a geographical analogy between Ada and Canyon County.

If you are not from the area you probably start your search with Boise Idaho Homes for Sale and as you learn about the area you find that there are many outlying communities including Meridian, Eagle and then you find the connecting county - Canyon.

It may not be obvious but Canyon County is only about 16 miles from Boise and 8 miles from Meridian. Another 8 miles down the road is Caldwell and within a few more miles are Parma, Middleton, Sand Hollow and Wilder. These cities would be considered more Agriculture based communities. While Nampa and Caldwell are "cities" everything else is going to be more like a "Town"

So what does this mean to you as a perspective home buyer? It means you may have many more options then you realized within an easy commute to all over the Treasure Valley. We often talk of "lifestyle" here in Idaho and due to the vast amount of land types of property you could find a vineyard or a ranchette. You may wnat enough acreage to farm or just a garden. Maybe you want a detached garage for a hobby or want to park in a parking garage in an condominium complex. There are so many options within 40 minutes of Boise it will blow your mind!!

Tell your agent you want a lifestyle search as opposed to search price + bedrooms and bath! You may find that there is a great property with your name on it.
