Honestly, yes! It may be easy to find a home on the internet these days, but it’s not easy to understand all the nuances to purchasing a house.

A real estate agent can guide you through the entire process. If you are working with a great agent, they can actually help you in your search. Not only can they help you search in a way that goes beyond bedroom, bath and square feet. They can take time to understand what your truly want to accomplish in your next search. They will take time to understand your lifestyle and based on their experience may be able to offer advice.

They may also know things that are not on the internet. We have had several clients who could not find what they were looking for but were able to reach out to our network for more options, like a builder who has a lot that is not listed on the MLS.

Real Estate Agents also make sure contracts are in your benefit, that the contract protects your interest and ensure that you get a home worth’s its value. It is not smart to gamble with real estat as it is one of the biggest financial decisions in your life.

Take the safe route and have an agent to back you up. Your life is probably busy enough, think about how you’ll manage a home purchase while doing another job. Additionally, you don't know what you don't know which can get you in hot water!
