The middle of March is ideal for sellers for this very reason. There are few other listings available, but there are still many buyers out there looking.

Sellers often wait too long to take advantage of the spring market. If you wait longer than the second week of March, you’re likely to lose money. According to Zillow, most listings at this time receive an offer that is very near to the property’s list price!
