Summer is here... Are you ready? We can help ;)

Welcome to Summer in Boise! So of course that means hiking, floating the river, and free concerts!!!! Your Build Idaho Team has put together this list of things we are looking forward to doing. Maybe we will see you out there!

These activities range from presell performances and free events. We hope you have a great time enjoying the summer heat!

 

Boise 4th of July Celebration
Gem State Kiwanis 4th of July 4, next to the Gene Harris Bandshell, Julia Davis Park 700 S. Capitol $8 general, $7 seniors, $5 children 13 and younger $25 families, free for current active duty and family, at the door or in advance at 208-331-1456.

Liberty Day Parade, 11 am, Downtown Boise. This year's theme is "Embrace Independence. Live Local." Entries will be accepted through July 2. libertydayparade.com

Fireworks Celebration, food and beer sales begin at 4 pm and fireworks show at 10:15 pm. Ann Morrison Park, 1000 S. Americana Blvd. Boise, Idaho                   

"Olde Tyme"

4th of July Fun run, parade, car show, antique tractor pull, arts and crafts, games, food, fireworks.
6 am to dusk.

Caldwell 4th of July Celebration
Car show, vendors, food, music, pie eating contest, bike contest, fireworks (10 pm, Brothers Park). Parade at 9 am and park events at 10:30 am.

Connect on the Deck
Every Thursday and Saturday
Come meet new friends and neighbors on The Deck on the 5th level outdoor terrace and enjoy gorgeous city vistas, tasty bites and beverages and fun conversation.  Thursdays from 5-9 PM for the happiest of hours and Saturdays from 11 AM - 1 PM for lunch on the grill from May to October or while the weather holds. See you there!

Movies Under the Stars
Free games for kids at 7 pm provided by Boise Parks and Recreation, movies at dusk June through August.
