Idaho Shakespeare Festival 2020 Lineup Main Treasure Valley Life

The Idaho Shakespeare Festival just announced its 2020 lineup and this year looks to be another fun one! Here is what you have to look forward to this coming spring and summer. All shows are rated for all audiences, so bring your family and a picnic basket to enjoy a night of fun and culture.

Much Ado About Nothing - May 22-June 21: The Bard’s classic tale of love deception, and rivals teaming up to save the marriage of their friends.

Ain’t Misbehavin’ - June 22-July 26: This Tony-winning musical is full of energy as it recounts the career and stylings of Thomas “Fats” Waller with big band music and bigger characters.

Henry V - June 28- August 26: Shakespeare’s famous tale of leadership, defiance, and royal power as it changes the course of Engilsh history.

Emma - July 31-August 30: This modern musical is a retelling of Jane Austen’s classic novel. Emma tries her hand at being a matchmaker, but what happens when it becomes too much and she has to reckon with her own feelings?

Sleuth - September 4-27: This Tony-winning play tells the story of when a mystery writer invites his best friend over for a night of games and fun. But the night blurs the line between reality and imagination as a cunning tale of intrigue, infidelity, and intrigue unfolds.
