In writing this article, we discovered one thing is certain: Boise residents love golf. In the Treasure Valley—which encompasses Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Star, Nampa, Kuna, Caldwell, and Emmett— there are 20 golf courses to visit. Each one is completely unique in its feel, layout, and atmosphere. Some of these courses host professional tour events and are used by pros to practice. Try them out and find your new favorite course. We broke them down by city and have all of the necessary information: address, phone number, green fee cost, and hours.

Golf Courses in Boise

Shadow Valley Golf Course - 15711 N Horseshoe Bend Rd, Boise, ID 83714 (208) 939-6699

Location: Alongside Highway 55, 10 minutes northwest of downtown Eagle. It is zoned in Boise, but is closer to Eagle proper.Size: 18 holes
Cost: 9 holes - $25.97, 18 holes - $36.79. Rates change at 2 pm and again at 6 pm as well as during the winter. Discounts are available for seniors and military.
Hours: sunrise to sunset

Pierce Park Greens - 5812 N Pierce Park Ln, Boise, ID 83714 (208) 853-3302

Location: Between State Street and Hill Road on Pierce Park Lane
Size:9-hole par-3 course
Cost: 9 holes - $10, 18 holes - $14
Hours: 8 am-dusk

Quail Hollow Golf Course - 4720 36th St, Boise, ID 83703 (208) 344-7807

Location: On 36th Street in the Boise foothills
Size: 18 holes, 6,325 yards of playable area
Cost: $24-$34 with discounts for juniors, seniors, and tee times after 2:30 pm. Tee times are accepted 7 days in advance.
Hours: 8 am-8 pm

Crane Creek Country Club - 500 W Curling Dr, Boise, ID 83702 (208) 514-4340

Location: Off Bogus Basin Road near Highlands Elementary School
Size: 18 holes. Membership also includes access to a tennis complex, fitness center, and Olympic swimming pool.
Cost: Contact the clubhouse for membership prices
Hours: Tuesday-Sunday 6 am-6 pm

Warm Springs Golf Course - 2495 E Warm Springs Ave, Boise, ID 83712 (208) 343-5661

Location: Off of Warm Springs Avenue in SE Boise.
Size: 18 holes
Cost: $24-$33. Discounts are available for kids under 17 and seniors over 62
Hours: sunrise to sunset

Hillcrest Country Club -  4610 W Hillcrest Dr, Boise, ID 83705 (208) 343-5425

Location: Intersection of Overland Road and Orchard Street
Size: 18 holes. Membership includes access to swimming pool and fine dining area
Cost: Contact the clubhouse for membership information
Hours: 8 am-6 pm

Hillcrest hosts the Albertsons Boise Open, a stop on the Korn Ferry Tour (formerly the Web.com Tour) in mid-September, and has one of the largest purses on the Tour.

Indian Lakes Golf Club - 4700 S Umatilla Ave, Boise, ID 83709 (208) 362-5771

Location: South Boise between Gowen Road and Cole Road
Size: 9 holes
Cost: 9 holes - $19, 18 holes - $31
Hours:9 am-8 pm

Boise Ranch Golf Course - 6501 S Cloverdale Rd, Boise, ID 83709 (208) 362-6501

Location: South side of the Cloverdale Road and Lake Hazel Road intersection
Size: 18 holes. Features the longest par-5 in Idaho
Cost: 9 holes - $24-26, 18 holes - $34-$43, Twilight hours - $25
Hours: 6 am-8:30 pm

Golf Courses in Meridian

Lakeview Golf Club - 4200 W Talamore Rd, Meridian, ID 83646 (208) 888-4080

Location: Between Ten Mile Road and Black Cat Road in Meridian.
Size:18 holes, 6,500 yards of playable area.
Cost: 9 holes - $24 | 18 holes - $34. Discounts are available for seniors and kids. Lessons are available for all ages and skill levels.
Hours: 7:30 am-7:30 pm

As a fun bonus, Lakeview offers FootGolf, a blend of soccer and golf with its own separate course and rules. It’s a fun twist on both sports.

The Club at SpurWing - 6800 N Spurwing Ln, Meridian, ID 83646 (208) 887-1800

Location: North of Chinden Boulevard/Highway 20 and west of Linder Road.
Size: 18 holes - Over 7,500 yards of playable area (the largest course in the Treasure Valley).
Cost: Call the clubhouse for membership information Lessons as well as performance analysis programs are available to members. Membership to the club also includes access to tennis courts, a pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, a fitness facility, and a fine dining area. Residents of the SpurWing luxury community receive membership to the country club as part of their HOA dues
Hours: 9 am-9 pm

Golf Courses in Eagle

Eagle Hills Golf Course - 605 N Edgewood Ln, Eagle, ID 83616 (208) 939-0402

Location: Off of Edgewood Lane between Floating Feather Road and Hill Road.
Size: 18 holes
Cost: 18 holes - $36.79. Discounts are available for kids under 17 and seniors. Green fees go down at 2 pm and again at 6:30 pm.
Hours: 6 am-7 pm. Closing is flexible due to sunset times. Keep an eye on posted sunset times for rentals and play times.

BanBury Golf Course - 2626 S Marypost Pl, Eagle, ID 83616 (208) 939-3600

Location: Off Eagle Road between Chinden Boulevard and State Street.
Size: 18 holes, 6,870 yards of playable area
Cost: 9 holes - $24.53, 18 holes - $39.62. Discounts are available for seniors, kids under 17, and playing after 3pm. Lessons are available for all skill levels and ages.
Hours: 6 am-8 pm.

BanBury Golf Course has been consistently rated by Golf Digest as one of the top 10 best courses in Idaho for the last 18 years. BanBury is a local hotspot for weddings and corporate events thanks to its scenic views and amazing menu.

Golf Courses in Nampa

Centennial Golf Course - 2600 Centennial Drive, Nampa, ID 83687 (208) 468-5889

Location: Off 11th Avenue next to Ridgecrest Golf Club.
Size: 18 holes with a 4,000 square foot chipping green
Cost: Weekday fees are $23 for adults and $17 for kids under 18. Season passes are available that are valid for both Centennial and Ridgecrest.
Hours: 6 am-7 pm

Ridgecrest Golf Club - 3730 Ridgecrest Drive, Nampa, ID 83687 (208) 468-5888

Location: On Ridgecrest Drive between Idaho Center Boulevard and 11th Avenue.
Size: 18 holes plus a 9-hole FootGolf Course
Cost: Weekday green fees are $30 for adults and $20 for children under 18 and after 3 pm. FootGolf is $11 for adults and $6 for children under 18.
Hours: sunrise to sunset

Ridgecrest was named the #1 golf course in Idaho by Golf Digest in 1999 and 2000. Ridgecrest has received a 4-star rating from Golf Digest for the last 9 years

RedHawk Golf Course - 12225 S Hunters Drive, Nampa, ID 83686 (208) 461-4295

Location: Next to Lake Lowell south of Iowa Avenue .
Size: 18 holes
Cost: Weekday rates are 9 holes for $16.03 and 18 holes for $24.02. After 3 pm, 9 or 18 holes is $20.75. Rates differ on weekends and winter.
Hours: 8:45 am-8 pm

Golf Courses in Caldwell

Fairview Golf Course - 816 Grant Street, Caldwell, ID 83605 (208) 455-3090

Location: Clubhouse is located on Grant Street between 9th Avenue and Kimball Avenue.
Size: 9 holes
Cost: $12.50 on weekdays. $13.50 on weekends
Hours: sunrise to sunset

Purple Sage Golf Course - 5192 Purple Sage Road, Caldwell, ID 83607 (208) 459-2223

Location: On Purple Sage Road between El Paso Road and Old Highway 30.
Size:18 holes
Cost: $15.25 for 9 holes, $19.75 for 18. Discounts are available for kids under high school age and seniors over 65.

Location: On Pollard Lane north of Beacon Light Road and west of Highway 16.
Size: 18 holes
Cost: 9 holes - $18, 18 holes - $27. Discounts are available after 2 pm, and for seniors and kids. Rates differ Friday-Sunday and holidays.

Falcon Crest Golf Club - 11102 S Cloverdale Road, Kuna, ID 83634 (208) 362-8897

Location: On Cloverdale Road south of Hubbard Road.
Size: 36 holes (it contains 3 separate courses)

Location: On Sales Yard Road near the Emmett Municipal Airport.

Cost: 9 holes - $15, 18 holes - $20. Fridays is $5 per 9 holes
