Try A World-Famous Burger at Big Jud's Main Treasure Valley Life

If an old-fashioned hamburger is calling your name, and you want to support a local Boise institution, look no further than Big Jud’s. This diner has been satisfying big appetites since 1993.

The original Big Jud’s was opened in the small town of Archer, Idaho in 1993. In 1997, a franchise location was opened in southeast Boise, where it quickly became a beloved restaurant. Most recently a new location was opened near downtown Meridian. Big Jud’s uses local ingredients and vendors to ensure freshness and quality and to support the local economy. Big Jud’s is a local favorite because of the high-quality no-nonsense burgers and old-fashioned milkshakes, as well as its eating challenges.

The Big Jud’s Challenge has two burger eating challenges to choose from. You can choose between a burger with a 1-pound patty or a 2-pound patty with all the trimmings in addition to 1.5 pounds of fries and a large drink in under 30 minutes. Successful attempts get you a T-shirt and a photo on the wall of fame.

Big Jud’s has been generous enough to donate two $25 gift cards to use as prizes in Build Idaho’s upcoming raffle at The Farmstead Corn Maze. On September 24th, 2020, Build Idaho will have a tent near the entrance to the Farmstead, where there will be single-serve food and drinks (to comply with Coronavirus health and safety guidelines) and plenty more awesome raffle prizes. We will be revealing the rest of the raffle prizes every day leading up to the event on the 24th, so check our blog to stay updated. Call your Build Idaho agent to get an RSVP email so you can get into the corn maze and pumpkin patch for free!
