How Much Does it Cost to Build A Home in Boise, Idaho in 2021?

2021 prices per square foot cost ranges

  • Condos: $450+ per square foot
  • Townhomes: $174 to $324 per square foot
  • Single-family homes: $127.64 to $495.90 per square foot

The median price per square foot for single-family homes ranged from $235 to $255 per square foot. These are retail prices. The least expensive homes were built by local production builders or were townhomes

 

How much does it actually cost to build a home in the Boise area?

In comparison to 2019, 2020 was up about 10%, mostly due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the resulting supply chain slowdowns.

Collina Vista subdivision (Star, Idaho)

  • Sale price: $630,000
  • 2,200 square feet + RV bay
  • $255 per square foot

Linfield Estates subdivision (Middleton, Idaho)

  • Sale price $900,000
  • 3,520 square feet
  • $256 per square foot + building lot cost
