Homes for Sale in Horseshoe Bend, ID 83676

Just over the hill, north of Eagle on Highway 55 is a beautiful valley and is probably going to be the next great place to live in the Treasure Valley. It is named appropriately as the Payette River swings into town and then turns west headed to Emmett on Highway 52.

Horseshoe Bend has many unique qualities. The location along the Payette River is just the beginning. The nearby mountain roads can create many day trip explorations. There is an abundance of wildlife from the river to the tops of nearby mountains and meadows. For the outdoor adventurist, there are miles of ATV trails, fishing, horse trails, hiking and so many places to explore. For sports extremists, check out the Horseshoe Bend Flight Park.

Horseshoe Bend Real Estate

As the Payette River departs from the mountain terrain and enters the valley surrounding Horseshoe Bend, a number of real estate opportunities appear. There are a few subdivisions in town and several developments nearby. Most new developments are offering homes with acreage either in the higher elevations or in the lower meadow regions.

For much of the past, this area was not considered extremely desirable as there was not much shopping or services. Over the years Horseshoe Bend has continued to grow slowly, also making it appealing, and new services have come along. Many still commute to the Treasure Valley for employment.
