The Bench has easy access to downtown Boise as well as the interstate. Shopping is plentiful along Orchard Street and nearby VIsta Ave. The Boise Depot is a poular attraction which includes the goldfish ponds connected via a series of waterfalls. Boise Bench Homes for sale may seem a little more affordable due to the age of many houses but several high end communities are going in this area with pricy homes due to the view of the Foothills.

Thing you should know about the Boise Bench

The Boise Bench is bounded by Federal Way to the east, Cole Road to the west and Garden City. The Bench is approximately 60 feet higher than downtown Boise to the northeast, hence the reference to 'bench'. Orchard Street is a major north-south thoroughfare in the neighborhood. The Bench (or Benches, there are three actual benches in the Boise Valley) was created as an ancient shoreline to the old river channel. The Bench is home to the Boise Union Pacific Depot and older residential neighborhoods similar to those in the North End.

Many are attracted to this area for its location but it is also becoming popular with people looking for homes that need to be re-modeled or completely re-built. There are a number of houses that are older and in need of being updated.
