About the Developer
Michael Hormaechea is a Boise native with over 19 years of real estate development experience including residential development of townhomes and condominiums in Boise, Eagle and McCall. What amenities come with ownership?
Both phase 1 and phase 2 of The Afton enjoy the same complement of amenities. The Afton has private, internal parking garages for residents only. In addition to cars, there is dedicated, secure bicycle parking and separate owner storage lockers. Beautifully appointed lobby's offer a consistently welcoming vibe as well as a home base for secure mail and package delivery. The Afton's truly singular amenities are experienced on levels 2 and 3, anchored by spacious outdoor roof gardens. These wonderfully landscaped garden courtyards provide for tranquil settings to gather with family, friends or neighbors and enjoy Boise's fabulous climate. Thoughtfully arranged around the garden courtyard you'll find outdoor firepits, multiple seating areas and indoor/outdoor BBQ and dining facilities. Pets have not been forgotten as both buildings contain lawn areas specifically designed for dog walking and potty breaks. If that is not enough, both buildings host an owner guest suite. Is The Afton a pet-friendly building?
Yes. They are happy to welcome domestic pets in The Afton. Our second and third-level garden courtyards provide your furry companion with a pet-friendly area and the main level of the garage includes a pet washing station. There are some restrictions on the size, type and quantity of pets. For your convenience, these are outlined in the CC&Rs and Rules & Regulations of the Association.

 

What are the HOA dues?
Annual assessments are currently estimated at $3.50 per square foot, per year.

The dues ensure that The Afton is maintained at the highest level for all its residents. This includes covering common-area utilities, building maintenance and reserves. Everyone contributes to keeping areas like the lobby, amenity spaces, elevator, hallways, rooftop garden, and all landscaping looking their best day in and day out. Furthermore, dues also cover resident sewer, trash and recycling service, water and natural gas. HOAs do not cover internet or TV.
