Location: Eagle is from Hwy 55 to Hwy 16 and from the Foothillsin the south to the Boise River

Many characterize Eagle, ID by the coined term “rurban” to describe the city of Eagle as a community that’s maintaining its rural charm in the otherwise increasingly urban setting of Southwestern Idaho. It is zip code 83616 which includes from the Bench running east west below Chinden Blvd to the Foothills and from Hwy 55 to Hwy 16. This area includes many luxury communities with magnificent monument entrances with beautiful streetscapes. Many custom homes are located along the north and south chnnels of the Boise River. Eagle also has a greenbelt that is very popular as it not only is a great stretch to explore but it runs beside the river whcih is very relaxing.

Open space, appealing but firm design standards, old style streetlights and tree lined streets all contribute to a city that confers an attractive allure to visitors, as well as those who are pleased to call Eagle “home.”

To sustain its quality of life amenities, Eagle has focused many of its developmental efforts on expanding the availability of parks and related entities that enhance life for residents.  Pocket parks are required in many of the newer subdivisions, with pathways connecting neighborhoods and linking the Boise River Greenbelt system to the community. Eagle has a rich history which has helped create what the city is today.
