About South Meridian Idaho
This is the area south of Interstate 84. While it has several entertainment landmarks like Roaring Springs, Wahooz and Jump Time, most of the shopping is north of the freeway. For years, this area was considered to be less valuable because it was away from everything but now retail shopping and restaurants are headed that way due to the increase in the number of new communities thereby, people that have moved in. In 2019 a brand new YMCA opened next to Century Farm Subdivision.

It still has the feel of Meridian with all of the parks and open space but it is a little further away from the hustle. There are many new communities to tour model homes but not a lot of exclusive subdivisions for custom homes.
