Mayfield Ranch Community

A developer wants to develop a planned community in the middle of the rustic area towards the foothills from the Stage Stop exit, east of Boise. The Mayfield Townsite property covers nearly 400 acres amidst rolling green hills and sagebrush. This wide-open country is set along the foothills which is home to [plenty of wildlife including hundreds of elk that migrate through this land every winter.

The developer envisions about eight square miles of desert transformed into homes for thousands of people. There will be a dozen neighborhoods with names like Homestead and Reliance built out over fifty years and it is only a thirty-minute drive from Boise.

The vision of Mayfield Townsite is to develop a diverse historically rich community with a variety of neighborhoods containing different land uses, densities, and opportunities for all age groups in this cherished location. The community will offer its residents a sense of history, pride, community spirit, community gathering place, excellent neighborhood connectivity, shared open spaces, recreational opportunities, and developed parks for multiple generations to embrace and enjoy.

Mayfield Townsite will include three villages:

1. Mayfield Townsite is to build upon the character and history of the early settlement
2. Settler Springs is to provide a gateway to Mayfield Townsite.
3. Prominence Village is to provide additional support to Settlers Village and Mayfield townsite
